About Our Organization
Has your child ever come to you with a problem?
"Dad, the cat isn't letting me dress him up." "Mom, why can't we just stop climate change?"
Though these complaints may sound vastly different, in Young Inventors kids are given the opportunity to explore whatever problems they see—whether big or small—and try to invent a creative way to solve them. Young Inventors is an official non-profit organization that partners high schoolers with elementary school-aged children in mentor-protege sessions to guide kids through the invention process. By the end of the camp, students will have created their very own inventions and prototypes!
Mission & Vision
From tackling climate change to designing small fixes for daily issues, Young Inventors aims to give kids a platform to share their wacky ideas and learn the process of prototyping, designing, creating, and effectively presenting their own inventions. We aim to give children a headstart in STEM while helping them tap into their creative side!
